WINTER LANGUAGE CAMP FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

During winter break in january 2024. we are organizing an English language get-together for primary school students in Belgrade as part of the EQUILIBRIO Winter Language Camp program./strong>. 

The program takes place in theEQUILIBRIO KIDS Language Center , at three locations. When enrolling, parents choose one of the following: Novi Beograd (Belville), Vračar (Crveni krst) i Zvezdara (Učiteljsko naselje). We meet every weekday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in small mentoring groups indoors and outdoors.

The camp is intended for elementary school students from I to VIII grade

Duration of the camp – one week (working days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

The language spoken – English

The camp is organized in 2 shifts during the winter vacation:

1st shift from January 8 to 12, 2024.

2nd shift from January 15 to 19, 2024.

WINTER SUPER HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER

A certain amount of time at the winter camp, primary school students spend socializing outside, in nearby parks, enjoying different activities (different sports, interactive language games, creative games, and workshops), and that’s when the memories are created that we remember and retell until we meet again.
Depending on where your child attends the Winter Language Camp, we organize sports games and competitions in various disciplines in nearby parks and playgrounds, depending on weather conditions. Wherever we are, together, we develop a team and healthy competitive spirit, win prizes, and enjoy our own and our friends’ success.
Excursions are what our campers look forward to the most. Every winter, we organize something new and different. Campers gain a completely new experience, have fun, and enjoy sharing moments with their peers.

ENCOURAGEMENT OF COMMUNICATION IN ENGLISH

HOLIDAY WITHOUT PHONES, TABLETS AND COMPUTERS

We called this year’s winter language adventure STUDILIBRIO. A new theme brings new creative challenges and an exciting creative endeavor. Campers will have the opportunity to get to know the world in front of and behind the camera and the studio mixing desk to reach the final result together – recording and editing a music video in a professional studio.
At our small art academy, they will learn about completely new language topics, and through acting, dancing, and creative workshops, they will prepare for the realization of our big project, in which every camper will be both a creator and a superstar.

LANGUAGE LEARNING THROUGH PLAY IS NOT ONLY THE MOST MODERN APPROACH TO TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE, BUT IT IS CLOSEST TO CHILDREN AND GIVES EXCELLENT RESULTS WITH CAMPERS OF ALL AGES. POPULAR BOARD GAMES WE ADAPT TO LANGUAGE TASKS, SO MONOPOLY, CARD PLAYING, X/O, AND OTHERS TAKE ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIMENSION.

ACTIVE USE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS A CRUCIAL COMPONENT OF OUR ONE-WEEK PLAN FOR OUR CAMPERS, BUT ALSO OUR MOST IMPORTANT GOAL. TRYING ALWAYS TO PROVIDE A REAL SITUATION IN WHICH ALL PREVIOUSLY LEARNED GRAMMAR AND LEXICAL UNITS WILL BE USED, WE STRENGTHEN THE MOST IMPORTANT LANGUAGE SKILLS – SPEAKING AND UNDERSTANDING.

TO BE ABLE ACTIVELY TO FOLLOW THE PLOT OF FILMS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, IT IS NECESSARY TO WORK DEDICATEDLY ON UNDERSTANDING THE SPEAKING CONTENT. WHILE WATCHING FILMS WHOSE SUBJECTS ARE CLOSE TO THE AGE AND INTERESTS OF OUR CAMPERS, WE ARE ACTIVELY WORKING TO IMPROVE THESE LANGUAGE SKILLS. AFTER WATCHING FILMS ON THE PROJECTION SCREEN IN OUR MULTIMEDIA CLASSROOMS, WE SHARE IMPRESSIONS THROUGH DIFFERENT WRITTEN AND SPEAKING ACTIVITIES.

OUR CAMPERS ENJOY BRAND NEW AND EXCITING ROLES THIS YEAR. THEY WILL ENGAGE IN AN ADVENTURE THAT THEY HAVE ONLY SEEN IN A MOVIE OR VIDEO GAME. DEVELOPING LOGIC, POWER OF OBSERVATION, AND IMAGINATION, THEY WILL SOLVE A SERIES OF COMPLICATED PUZZLES AND PROBLEMS IN ENGLISH TO DISCOVER THE MYSTERY BEHIND THEM. And the PRIZE? THE PRIZE WILL BE HIDDEN IN THE SOLUTION OF THE LAST TASK.
